John and I had the most wonderful trip to Alaska and MT. The cruise aboard Le Soleal (which means “the one who leads the way”) was beautiful. Excellent guided hikes provided by Tauck. Chris Morgan the Bear guy on BBC and PBS was even there for a presentation and spent a couple of days on board. Our weather was magnificent!
Prior to the cruise, we spent a week at North Face Lodge in Denali. It had to be one of the highlight experiences of our lives. The lodge staff (all young college grads) were so passionate and knowledgeable about the environment. The guided hikes were outstanding and challenged us both physically (there were 3 levels) and mentally. We saw the beautiful Mt Denali several times!
The food was fabulous and very healthfully sourced. They even have a greenhouse to grow salad and veggies. Recommend to anyone who wants a true nature experience.
Montana Paradise Valley finished up the trip. We were with family and had a great time. Restaurants in the Livingston, Chico Hot Springs are excellent!
Thanks for all the organizing you did. Our flights were great and everything came off like clockwork.
We’ll definitely call on you again in the future as we head out on more “ventures” (as our grandtwins say).
