“Jason discovered that we were not the easiest of clients but he persevered with us and did a fantastic job. Each change we made he and his co-worker Theresa, found a way to make it all work perfectly and seamlessly for us!

This was an excellent example of how they worked this for us. We needed several different flights and connections and each one was clearly outlined and the checkin data provided to us well before hand. Meticulous and well designed travel.

We would absolutely and unhesitatingly tell our friends and family to use Azumano for any travel needs they may have. Terrific service and value for money!”

“Si jambo, Bwana!

During our time in the Serengeti, the “kids” spent much of every day on safari.  We had a great driver/tracker for those days and he took them everywhere.  Don and I were generally content to sit on our verandah and watch the wild life in the plains in front of us.  One exciting event was the nightly visit from a lion — he tried to get into Monica and Alicia’s tent one night (upended one of the ground spikes) and Monica got pictures of his paw prints to prove it.  Keith turned out to be a very competent spotter.

All of the personnel from the safari companies were excellent.   Paul was there to meet 5 very weary travelers on our arrival in Entebbe and whisked us off to Carpe Diem guest house.  He was back at 7 am the next morning to join us for breakfast and get us on our way to Murchison.  Throughout our time in Uganda, Paul was always on time, took us anywhere we wanted to go, and was a font of information about Uganda.  He protected us and treated us as family — we all wanted to adopt him!

We greatly enjoyed the staff at the safari camp — they were competent, great cooks and delightful to visit with.  Since we were the only guests at the camp, we had all their attention.

Overall, the arrangements with the travel agencies were faultless and we greatly appreciated the care we received from them.  Don wasn’t aware that all our arrangements were pre-arranged, but he was very grateful that we didn’t have to worry about meals, transportation, accommodations, etc.  Many thanks for all your time and expertise in planning our “back to Africa” trip.  It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us, and especially for our children.  When we visited Nysambia Hospital in Kampala, the nurses in the maternity ward all welcomed Keith back as “one of our children” — that truly made our trip unforgettable.”
