“GOAL: take my 19 yr. old son to Italy to experience the car factories, drive a Lamborghini and cultural tours. With a short window of time , two months, to design this trip between his spring semester of college ending and summer school starting I was introduced to an Italy expert- Heather Hanssen – who was brave enough to take on this challenge and pulled it off perfectly!! Heather was a great listener of what we wanted to do and offered suggestions to improve our experience as my son and I are “rookies” in travel. Every detail was talked about from departures times, hotel locations, transportation connects, rail tickets/times between cities, and set tours with free time as well. Even a simple detail like my son’s passport, he’s 19, needed to be upgraded from a minor to an adult passport was NOT overlooked by Heather. Her personal knowledge of the cities we visited: Rome, Florence, Bologna, and Venice made our excursion choices more clear to having an “experience” in Italy vs. a rushed trip. Our travels from San Diego to Italy, Mom and son, will be cherished forever! Thank you Heather Hanssen for assisting us in designing our trip to Italy.
